The Kryptek Trinity Bay Short is a warm-weather short built around simplicity and comfort, sitting somewhere between a board short and a full utility short. The outer shell is a moisture-wicking 89% polyester/11% spandex blend for stretch and durability, lined with a soft, odour-resistant bamboo-blend fabric that stays comfortable against the skin whether you're wet or dry. It runs an 8in inseam for a balanced, mobile cut, with four pockets — two at the hip and two velcro-closure pockets at the back — for keeping keys, a wallet or tackle close at hand. A metal button waistband, zippered fly and reinforced belt loops round out a genuinely hard-wearing build rather than a beach-only short. It suits time on the water, days at the range, travelling or simply everyday off-season wear where trousers are overkill. Clay is one of Kryptek's understated solid colourways rather than a camouflage pattern, so it works just as well away from the field.
