Kryptek build their camo round a two-layer pattern — a background transition and a sharper geometric overlay on top — which is meant to break up the outline at distance as well as at close range. Three colourways stocked here, and they suit different ground.
- Highlander — the tan and green mix, at home on open hill, stubble and dry ground.
- Typhon — the dark, low-contrast pattern, better in shadow, in woodland and at first and last light.
- Altitude — the lighter, higher-contrast option for rock and broken ground.
The range
Clothing runs light — the Sonora hot weather hoodie and Stalker hoodie for sun protection and midge cover on warm days rather than warmth, and the Stalker II short sleeve in cotton twill. Ventus and Altitude neck gaiters, Spartan trucker caps and reversible debossed beanies fill in the accessories. The Aeron 48in scoped rifle case in Highlander is the one hard-use item.
Worth saying plainly: on British ground movement gives you away long before pattern does. Camo helps, but it will not rescue a poor approach into the wind or a silhouette on a skyline.
