Built for hands that take a daily beating, the Mechanix Wear M-Pact 2 pairs an accordion knuckle guard — high-density EVA foam under a Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) shell — with TPR finger guards and metacarpal protection across the back of the hand, so blunt knocks from gates, quad bikes, kennel doors and vehicle tailgates are absorbed rather than felt. In the palm, D3O padding soaks up impact and vibration from hand tools and equipment, while durable Armortex fingertips hold their grip in dry, oily or wet conditions — useful when field-dressing or handling wet kit. An extended neoprene cuff adds coverage over the wrist, a TrekDry-lined back of hand keeps things breathable, and the synthetic-leather palm is touchscreen capable, so a phone or GPS unit stays usable without the glove coming off. The whole glove is machine washable and carries an EN388 impact/abrasion rating (cert code 3121X).
