The Mechanix Wear Team Issue CarbonX Level 5 glove is built for hands-on work around real heat and flame. The palm is genuine leather, and the back of the hand is layered with two courses of flame-resistant CarbonX fabric for protection that goes beyond a standard work glove. A high-density accordion knuckle panel shields the hand from impact without restricting movement, and a wide leather cuff with a hook-and-loop closure makes the glove quick to put on and take off while still holding a secure fit.
