The Napier Apex Auto Lift is a self-retracting deer hoist designed for stalkers who need to handle large deer species and wild boar cleanly and safely without assistance. It attaches to any fixed anchor point — including the Napier Tree Hugger and Apex Autoclick — and uses a ratchet mechanism that lifts the animal 3cm per stroke, raising a 200kg carcase single-handed with no rope to tangle or tie off. When you stop ratcheting, the load holds in place. A two-part Apex Gambrel is included to secure the animal, and the large Grab Ring gives you controlled descent so you can lower the carcase directly into a vehicle without it touching the ground — a significant hygiene advantage over ground gralloching. The entire system, including the gambrel, auto-retracts into a compact unit weighing just 1.34kg, small enough to pocket in the Apex Predator jacket or a Napier waist bag. Conventional block-and-tackle setups require lengths of rope and a safe tie-off point; the Apex Auto Lift removes both requirements, making suspended gralloching practical on any outing.
