Napier Ultra Clean Pre-Cut Patches are a versatile double-sided cleaning fabric in a convenient pre-cut format. The material is double-sided: the rough face provides a safe abrasive action that scrubs fouling from the bore without damaging the rifling, whilst the smoother reverse holds the loosened dirt particles firmly and removes them completely rather than smearing them further down the barrel. Unlike a brush, Ultra Clean holds the debris it lifts, so each fresh patch presents a clean face. The fabric is self-amalgamating — it bonds to itself in the way Velcro does — so it grips any jag and will not unwind on the cleaning rod during use. It is chemically inert and compatible with any bore solvent or oil. Wrapped around the hand, it also works as a polishing mitt for barrels and wooden stocks. This packet contains 100 pre-cut patches, giving a generous supply for a full season's maintenance.
