The NocPix Quest H50R is a handheld thermal imaging binocular built for genuine two-eyed observation in the field, with a built-in laser rangefinder for putting a number on distance rather than guessing it. At its core is a 640 x 512, 12µm thermal sensor with NETD below 15mK and a 60Hz frame rate, paired with a 50mm f/1.1 lens giving 4-32x magnification and a detection range out to 2600m on a human-sized target. Each eyepiece carries its own full-resolution 1920 x 1200 AMOLED display with individual diopter adjustment, so the picture stays sharp and comfortable over a long watch. The integrated laser rangefinder reads out to 1000m in single-shot or continuous mode, with the distance shown straight on the display. Power comes from a built-in rechargeable cell plus a hot-swappable 18650 battery, giving up to six hours of continuous running, and the whole unit is IP67 rated against rain, dust and rough handling. Housed in a lightweight, fully rubber-coated body, it is a serious piece of night-observation kit for deer stalkers, pest controllers and anyone who needs to scan ground with both eyes open rather than squinting through a monocular.
