The Richter Optik Trigger Lamp is a compact, pistol-grip handheld spotlight built for lamping foxes, rabbits and other quarry after dark. A 2,000 lumen LED throws a powerful spot beam out to a useable range of around 500m, run from an internal rechargeable lithium battery good for roughly three hours between charges. The trigger-style grip puts the switch under your finger for quick, one-handed control in the field, and it's protected by a rubber cover to keep grit and moisture out. The head measures a compact 115mm across, keeping the unit manageable without giving up output, and the whole lamp is rated IPX65 waterproof for typical UK field conditions. A red clip-on filter is supplied for lamping work where a white beam would spook quarry, and the lamp charges from either the mains via the supplied UK DC cable or a vehicle's 12V socket, so it can be topped up between outings or on the move.
