The Rix Leap L12R is the flagship of the Leap range: a 1280×1024 12µm sensor with NETD below 15mK running at 60Hz, behind a 60mm F1.0 objective, with detection out to 3100m. It views through a circular 2560×2560 AMOLED display rather than the usual rectangle.
1280 sensor at 60Hz
The 1280×1024 sensor with NETD below 15mK is the most sensitive in the Leap range, and the 60Hz refresh rate keeps moving subjects clean rather than smeared. Paired with the 60mm F1.0 lens it detects heat out to 3100m.
Circular display
The 1.03in 2560×2560 circular AMOLED gives the familiar round eyepiece view of a conventional riflescope, instead of the letterbox of a rectangular screen.
Bar-style integrated rangefinder
The rangefinder is built into the lens close to the optical axis, so it measures instantly with no separate setup or calibration. The linear bar-style cut keeps the cross-section small, lets in more light and improves impact resistance compared with irregular rangefinder housings. Ballistic calculation displays the corrected aiming point in a picture-in-picture window.
Built for heavy calibres
Rated to 1000g / 6000J of recoil on 30mm rings, with an aluminium-alloy lens cover that closes almost silently and an optical zoom lever for fast magnification changes. IP67 rated. Built-in Wi-Fi connects the device to your Android or iOS phone through the RIX+ app, for live streaming, file download and over-the-air firmware updates.
