The Rix Leap L3R is a thermal riflescope with continuous 3.2–9.6× optical zoom and a laser rangefinder built into the lens system rather than bolted alongside it. A 384×288 12µm sensor and 35mm F0.9 objective give detection to 1800m, and the scope is rated to 1000g / 6000J of recoil on 30mm rings.
Rangefinder integrated into the lens
The laser sits within the lens system, aligning the laser and optical axes so the range you read is the range to what is actually on your reticle. It measures to 1200m at ±1m and feeds a ballistic solution through a dedicated start/stop button.
Continuous optical zoom
Optical zoom runs continuously from 3.2× to 9.6×, with digital zoom to 4× on top, so you can frame a target without stepping through fixed magnifications.
0.35 MOA reticle and RTC
The reticle resolves to 0.35 MOA — 0.37in at 100 yards. The Return to Centre function resets the reticle to the y-axis centre after zeroing, giving a more comfortable field of view. Five zeroing profiles cover multiple rifles.
Built for the field
Three large knobs and two oversized buttons work in the dark and in gloves, and the redesigned eyepiece widens the eye box by around 30% on 50mm of eye relief. IP67 rated. Built-in Wi-Fi connects the device to your Android or iOS phone through the RIX+ app, for live streaming, file download and over-the-air firmware updates.
