The Rix Storm S3R adds a built-in laser rangefinder to the Storm platform. A 384×288 12µm sensor and 35mm F1.0 objective detect heat to 1800m, the rangefinder reads to 1200m at ±1m, and the whole scope weighs 454g. A quick-release mount is included.

Rangefinder and trajectory tool
The compact built-in rangefinder measures to 1200m with ±1m precision and feeds Rix's trajectory tool, which works through the scope's own Wi-Fi hotspot and the RIX+ app using zeroing profiles A to E.

Sunny Mode and Rain Mode
Sunny Mode cuts image noise for a cleaner picture in bright conditions. Rain Mode raises thermal sensitivity to pull out the smaller temperature differences that survive in wet, humid and foggy air — the conditions that defeat most thermal.

Picture-in-picture you can zoom independently
Unlike most scopes, the S3R lets you set the magnification of the picture-in-picture window separately from the main view, so you can hold a wide view of the ground while a magnified window stays on the target. Return to Centre resets the reticle after zeroing.

Light, and easy to work in the dark
454g with enlarged four-way buttons mapped directly to the interface, so it can be driven in gloves. Rated to 1000g / 6000J of recoil, IP67 sealed, on a Picatinny mount.
