The Rix Storm S6R is the 640-sensor model in the Storm range. A 640×512 12µm sensor with NETD below 20mK sits behind the same 35mm F1.0 objective as the S3R, giving a markedly wider 12.5°×9.4° field of view alongside the built-in 1200m rangefinder — all still at 454g.

640 sensor, wider view
Against a 384-sensor scope the S6R resolves finer detail and shows a noticeably wider field of view, which makes finding a target easier before you ever think about magnifying it. NETD below 20mK keeps noise down in difficult air.

Rangefinder and trajectory tool
The compact built-in rangefinder measures to 1200m with ±1m precision and feeds Rix's trajectory tool through the scope's Wi-Fi hotspot and the RIX+ app, using zeroing profiles A to E.

Sunny Mode and Rain Mode
Sunny Mode cuts image noise in bright conditions. Rain Mode raises thermal sensitivity to pull out the smaller temperature differences that survive in fog, rain and high humidity.

Picture-in-picture you can zoom independently
The magnification of the picture-in-picture window sets separately from the main view, so a wide view of the ground and a magnified view of the target coexist. Return to Centre resets the reticle after zeroing. Rated to 1000g / 6000J of recoil, IP67 sealed, Picatinny mount.
