The Swarovski Optik Bino Guard Pro is a protective eyepiece cover for the binoculars, not the binoculars themselves. It folds over the oculars to shield the eyepieces from rain, snow, dirt and dust between glassing sessions, so you can keep your optics ready without worrying about the weather closing in on a stalk. It fits the current NL Pure, EL and EL Range models, attaching quickly to the bayonet connector on the strap mount and coming away just as fast when you want to raise the binoculars. Handling is quiet, which matters when you are working in close on deer. Under the flap sits a transparent pocket sized for a personal ballistic data card or a Swarovski cleaning cloth, keeping the essentials to hand at the moment they count. Note that it will not fit older EL models that use a neck-strap loop attachment rather than the connector mount. The cleaning cloth is sold separately. A sensible bit of protection for anyone carrying high-end Swarovski glass in the field.
