The Swarovski SOC stay-on case is a fitted protective cover for the STS and STM 80 straight spotting scopes, including the HD versions, so you can keep your scope shielded without taking it out of the case to glass. The close-fitting design wraps the 80mm body in a tough CORDURA nylon exterior with internal padding, guarding against the knocks, scrapes and weather that come with a day on the hill. It stays put without slipping or rubbing, even in demanding conditions, and leaves the focusing wheel and eyepiece free to use while the case is fitted. Separate covers protect the objective lens and the eyepiece; both open easily and snap clear to the side when you want to start observing, then close again to keep dust and moisture out in transit. For deer stalkers and birders who spend long sessions behind a Swarovski scope, it is a sensible way to protect a serious piece of glass while keeping it ready to use. Check that your scope is the straight STS or STM 80 model before ordering, as angled and 65mm versions take a different case.
