The Swarovski Z6i 1.7-10x42 BT is an illuminated hunting riflescope built around a 6x zoom range, taking you from a wide 1.7x for close, fast-moving driven work up to 10x for placing a shot at medium range. The 42mm objective and slim 30mm tube keep it light enough for a stalking or mountain rifle while gathering plenty of light for dawn and dusk. The illuminated reticle sits in the second focal plane, so its appearance stays constant through the zoom, and Swarovski's SWAROLIGHT system uses a tilt sensor to switch the illumination off when the rifle is lowered or shouldered, saving battery without fuss. Parallax is fixed at 100m. The BT designation marks the ballistic turret, which lets you store known distances and dial quickly to a target rather than holding over. Each click moves the point of impact 10mm at 100m. With around 90 per cent light transmission, SWAROCLEAN coatings and full submersion sealing, it is a capable all-rounder for stalking, hide work and low-light hunting.
