The neoprene material is water- and weatherproof, so the cover shields the sight's lens, housing and controls from rain, dirt, dust and knocks while it is in a bag, in the cabinet, or being carried in the field. It slips on and off easily with no fastenings to fiddle with, giving quick day-to-day protection without the bulk of a hard case. This is a cover only, made specifically for the AMG UH-1 Gen II; it does not fit other Vortex red dot or holographic sight models, and the UH-1 sight itself is sold separately and is not included. A simple, low-cost way to protect a holographic sight that would otherwise sit exposed on top of the rifle, whether in transit, in storage, or between outings.
