The Walker's Recon Digital Muffs with Bluetooth are electronic ear defenders built for the range, the clay ground or a day in the field, rated at 26 dB NRR to protect hearing from gunshot noise. Bluetooth 5.0 pairs with the Walker's Link app to take calls, stream audio and adjust settings, while full dynamic range HD speakers and an integrated microphone give clear two-way communication through a connected phone. Sound Activated Compression (SAC) reacts instantly to loud reports, cutting them down while a digital amplifier lifts quieter sounds such as speech and approaching game, so wearers keep full situational awareness between shots. A 3.5mm audio jack allows a direct wired connection where preferred, and an adjustable 2, 4 or 6-hour auto shut-off helps manage battery use through the day; power comes from two AAA batteries. The IPX4-rated composite housing with a bonded rubber coating copes with wet, muddy conditions. The muffs are also compatible with Walker's Recon Hybrid Communicator, a separate Bluetooth walkie-talkie attachment giving hands-free two-way radio communication over GPRS channels.
