The Warne 2R7M is a pair of fixed, permanently attached scope rings machined specifically for Ruger's tapered-dovetail receivers – the M77, Hawkeye and Super Redhawk – so the rings clamp straight onto the action with no separate base to fit. Like the rest of Warne's Ruger range, each ring is a solid steel, vertically split design built to hold up to heavy recoil, and a Ruger-specific scalloped recoil key engages the receiver dovetail for a secure, repeatable mount. This is the high-height version, built for a 1 inch scope tube with an objective bell up to 52mm – the extra clearance a larger front lens needs to sit clear of the barrel and action. Four T-15 Torx socket-cap screws secure the scope, torqued to a maximum of 25 in/lb, and the rings carry Warne's lifetime warranty. Because they're permanently attached rather than quick-detach, the 2R7M suits a Ruger rifle set up with one scope for the long term – a stalking rifle running a larger-objective 1 inch scope for low-light performance – rather than one swapped between optics.
