The Warne 217LM is a Maxima quick-detach scope ring built to Warne's ultra-high height, sized for 30mm scope tubes and finished in matte black steel. It uses Warne's vertically split ring design for straightforward fitting — open the ring, seat the scope, and close down onto a solid steel body — and carries the square stainless steel recoil control key that engages the full width of the recoil slot on a Maxima/Weaver base or Picatinny rail, stopping the ring shifting or peening under heavy recoil. The indexable quick-detach lever allows the scope to be removed and refitted with return-to-zero accuracy guaranteed on genuine Warne Maxima bases; pull the lever out, turn it to the desired position and let it snap back into place. Torx T-15 socket cap screws hold the scope securely once eye relief and level are set. The ultra-high height suits large-objective scopes that need extra clearance over the barrel or a bulky action, making it a practical option wherever Warne's medium or high rings don't give enough room. Made in the USA to Warne's usual Maxima quality.
