These are genuine Warthog replacement hones for the V-Sharp Classic II and A4 knife sharpeners — a spare part, not a sharpener in its own right, for when the fitted stones on your Classic II or A4 wear down. Sold as a pair, one hone slots into each arm of the sharpener's V-guide in place of the worn originals. This is the 1000 grit set, the finest of Warthog's four grit stages (270, 325, 600 and 1000), used last in the sharpening sequence to refine and polish an edge that's already been shaped on a coarser stone. Each hone is double-sided: a 1000 grit diamond stone face for fine sharpening, with a honing steel face on the reverse for a final steeling pass to true up the edge between sharpens. Because the V-Sharp system holds a fixed sharpening angle, swapping in a fresh set of hones restores the sharpener's original performance without needing to reset anything. These hones are specific to the Classic II and A4 models and are not interchangeable with the Xtreme Edge range. A straightforward way to keep a Warthog sharpener performing like new.
