The Wulf ShadowLux is a 3-colour IR illuminator built for night-vision shooting, switching between white visible light, 850nm IR and 940nm IR at the turn of a 3-position switch, so one torch covers everything from checking ground in daylight to scanning for foxes after dark. Its optical system gives genuine control over the beam: wind the adjustable focus out to a wide throw for scanning open fields, or bring it in tight to pick out detail on a distant target through a night-vision scope or handheld unit. A variable-intensity rheostat lets you dial the output up or down to suit the range and the device you're pairing it with, rather than working at one fixed brightness.
