The Bog Clandestine is an 18-megapixel game camera with true black-flash infrared, so the illuminator gives off no visible glow and won't spook wary animals or advertise its position after dark. It captures 18MP stills and 1080p full-HD video, with hybrid, multi-shot and time-lapse capture modes for covering a trail, feed site or gateway however it's being watched. Trigger speed is under 0.2 seconds with 0.8-second recovery between shots, so it keeps up with animals moving quickly through frame, and the infrared flash reaches out to 100ft with an 80ft detection range. Every image is stamped with temperature, barometric pressure, date, time, moon phase and camera name, useful detail for pattern-spotting over a season. It runs on six AA lithium batteries for up to 11 months, or up to a year on Bog's optional Omnipotence rechargeable pack, and stores onto an SD card up to 512GB. The camera uses Bog's patented removable Dominion viewer, so images and menu settings can be checked on its 3in colour screen without carrying a laptop into the field.
