HME's Trail Camera Holder Post lets you put a trail camera pretty much anywhere, regardless of whether there's a suitable tree nearby. The post steps straight into the ground, making it easy to set a camera over a food plot, a well-used trail, or at the perfect distance from a scrape. The trail camera threads onto the mount's 1/4 inch x 20 threaded stud — the fitting used by virtually all trail cameras — then rotates into position and locks in place with a rubber washer and wing nut. A separate 3/8 inch wing nut controls vertical adjustment: loosen it, pivot the camera to the angle you want, then re-tighten to hold it firm. Simple, compact and sturdy, it's a flexible option for scouting deer and other game across open ground, and doubles up well in a ground blind or for general outdoor video work.
