The Napier 20 gauge Safety Flag is a simple, effective way to prove your semi-automatic or pump-action shotgun is safe on a clay ground or shoot day. It has a durable plastic body with a bright, waterproof PVC flag that inserts by hand into the chamber, showing everyone at a glance that the gun cannot be loaded or fired. This is the standard, sure way to demonstrate an empty chamber when moving between stands, crossing a gate, or handing a gun to someone else for inspection. It must be fitted and removed manually rather than cycled through the action, as it is not designed to work like a snap cap. Compact and easy to carry in a cartridge bag or pocket, it is a sensible, low-cost addition to any 20 gauge semi-auto or pump shotgun owner's kit, and a good habit to build into your gun-handling routine on any shoot.
