A separate 4" x 1" x 3/8" dual-grit stone — 325 coarse on one face, 1,000 fine on the other — refines that edge to a smooth, polished finish, and stores neatly in a built-in compartment moulded into the base when not in use. A bottle of Smith's Premium Honing Solution is included to lubricate the stones and lift away swarf as you work, along with a sharpening angle guide to help hold a consistent bevel — useful for anyone new to stone sharpening.
