The Birchwood Casey Brass Push Jag is a solid-brass cleaning jag sized for .25 calibre rifle bores, made to thread onto most standard cleaning rods for a quick, close-tolerance fit between patch and barrel. Its pointed tip holds a cleaning patch centred and gripped tightly as it travels down the bore, giving a snug fit that pushes dirt, powder residue and old oil out ahead of it rather than smearing them around. It's equally at home running a dry patch through after a day on the hill, pushing solvent-soaked patches through during a proper clean, or laying down a light film of oil before the rifle goes back in the cabinet. The solid brass build won't mark or wear the bore the way some cheaper alloys can, and the jag is shaped to fit most brands of cleaning rod, so it slots straight into an existing cleaning kit without hunting for an adapter.
