The Aonach II is Hoggs of Fife's fully waterproof 10 inch field boot, built for a full day on the hill or in the beating line. An H-Tex waterproof and breathable membrane sits behind uppers cut from Anfibio leather, so your feet stay dry without cooking on a long stalk, and a rubber protection rand around the high-wear areas keeps rock, root and fence wire from cutting into the leather. Underfoot, a Vibram 'Bifida' sole grips confidently across wet grass, mud and broken ground in all weathers, while a shock-absorbing midsole and a removable memory foam insole take the sting out of hours on your feet. The ankle is leather lined for extra protection and support over rough terrain, and the whole boot is waterproof tested to 50,000 flexes, so it is built to last a season of genuine field use rather than the odd walk to the car park.
