This 150 ml aerosol format delivers the solvent as a fine, penetrating mist that reaches into the bore and onto metalwork with minimal effort. The formula dissolves powder residues as well as lead and gliding-metal jacket deposits that build up in rifled and smooth-bore barrels after shooting — contaminants that, if left, can accelerate corrosion and reduce accuracy. Once the bore is clean, 009 leaves a light residual film that acts as a rust inhibitor, providing short-term protection between cleaning sessions.
