The BushWear Anis Salt Block is a 2 kg mineral lick formulated specifically to attract and hold deer on your ground. Exclusive to BushWear, it combines a salt and mineral base — including calcified seaweed, mono calcium phosphate and calcined magnesite — with a concentrated aniseed flavouring that deer find hard to resist. The declared mineral analysis (Ca 4.4%, P 1.15%, Mg 1.4%, Na 32.0%) means the block supports genuine herd health as well as drawing animals in. Suitable for all UK deer species — roe, red, fallow and muntjac — it is well suited to establishing reliable lick sites for management, pre-season observation or wildlife photography. The solid block construction handles wet, cold and muddy conditions without dissolving rapidly, giving months of use from a single placement. For best results, supplement with BushWear Anis Oil drizzled on surrounding vegetation to create a scent corridor that guides deer to the lick from distance. Place the block in a sheltered spot close to a deer path or feeding area, then revisit regularly to monitor activity and top up as needed.
