The BushWear Solid Oak Roe Skull Shield is a hardwood mounting plaque for displaying a roe deer skull trophy on the wall, the traditional way to preserve the memory of a hard-won stalk. Cut from solid oak, the shield gives a warm, natural-grain backing that suits a roe skull in the trophy room, gun room or hallway, and the timber is robust enough to carry the trophy for years. This is the small size, measuring 5.25 x 8.75 inches, the right proportion for a roe skull rather than a larger stag. A metal hanging bracket is fitted to the rear so the shield mounts quickly and securely to the wall, and a metal skull fixing is included to attach the trophy to the front of the board. The result is a clean, classic presentation that lets the antlers stand out against the oak. A simple, honest way to show a roe buck the respect it deserves and to mark a memorable day in the field.
