The Single Leg Minor is Viper-Flex's carbon fibre third leg, designed to click on to the Minor 2 and turn it into a self-standing tripod for extra stability. Rather than balancing the rifle against a two-legged rest, adding the Single Leg Minor lets the whole support stand on its own, freeing the shooter to lean gently forward into it for a steadier hold — this is exactly how the Minor 3 tripod is built, using the same Single Leg Minor as its third leg. Like the rest of the Minor range it's made from telescopic carbon fibre tubing, adjusting from 27.5cm to 36.5cm to match the ground and shooting position, with a rubber foot that grips on both hard and soft surfaces. At only 60g it adds next to nothing to the kit bag and clips into place in seconds when a two-point rest isn't quite steady enough. Handmade in Denmark, it's sold as an accessory for hunters who already own, or are considering, the Minor 2.
