The Hi-Tec Mauna Hiker in Toadstool/Sepia Rose is a waterproof, lightweight trail shoe built for everyday walks and light hiking rather than technical mountain terrain — a good match for dog walks, estate paths and general outdoor days where a low-cut shoe suits better than a boot. The breathable mesh upper carries a welded overlay for structure and support, with a protective toe and heel for durability, and a soft padded collar for comfort round the ankle. Hi-Tec's Dri-Tec waterproof and breathable membrane keeps feet dry in wet grass and showers without making the shoe feel airless, while the Ortholite Impressions memory foam footbed cushions every step and helps control bacteria and odour. A lightweight, compression-moulded EVA midsole absorbs shock underfoot, a nylon forked shank adds torsional support without extra weight, and the carbon rubber MDT outsole grips confidently on both the way up and the way down.
