The Pixfra Mile M60 is a handheld thermal imaging monocular built for spotting deer, foxes and other quarry after dark or in poor visibility. At its core is a 640x512, 12µm uncooled thermal sensor paired with a 25mm f1.0 lens, giving a detection range of up to 1240m and a field of view of 18.0° x 13.5° at 1.47x magnification, viewed on a sharp 1280x960 display. A built-in stadiametric rangefinder helps judge distance to a marked target, while adjustable dioptre control keeps the image crisp for different users. Four colour palettes — White Hot, Black Hot, Iron Red and Alarm — suit changing field conditions, and a built-in laser pointer, which disables itself after 10 seconds for eye safety, lets you mark a spot for a companion. The M60 records stills and video to a microSD card of up to 256GB, and its built-in Wi-Fi links to the Pixfra app so several phones can view the same feed at once. Weighing under 450g, IP67-rated and 2m drop-tested, it keeps working out in the field from -20°C to +50°C, backed by around 6 hours of use from its internal battery.
