The Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL60 is the high-resolution model in the European-made Thermion 2 LRF 60 series, built around a 1024×768, 12µm thermal sensor rated at less than 35mK NETD, with software processing taking effective sensitivity below 20mK (sNETD). The step up to a 1024×768 sensor — versus the 640×480 arrays in the XG60 and XP60 — delivers noticeably more image detail: finer recognition of body shape and antler configuration at distance, and cleaner identification of quarry against complex backgrounds. The 60mm f/1.1 germanium lens operates at 2.5–20× magnification with an 11.7° field of view, making the XL60 the most versatile in the range — wide enough for close-in woodland stalking yet with the reach for open-ground work to 2,800 metres. A redesigned wide-angle eyepiece feeds the 2560×2560 Micro-OLED display through 65mm of eye relief and an 8mm exit pupil for a large, immersive view. The built-in 905nm laser rangefinder reads distance to ±1m at up to 800 metres and now shows a suggested point of aim in the display, while a reduced click value sharpens zeroing for a more precise, repeatable point of impact. A 64GB recorder captures 1280×960 video with audio, and the removable APS3 battery runs up to seven hours — a spare is included in the box. Bluetooth links a supplied remote control, the Stream Vision 2 app and Stream Vision Ballistics; the metal body is IPX7-rated, withstands 6,000 joules of recoil and mounts on standard 30mm rings.
