The Pulsar Thermion 2 XG50 is a full-featured thermal riflescope built around a highly sensitive 640×480, 12µm uncooled thermal sensor and a fast-aperture 50mm f/1.0 germanium objective lens, delivering a detection range of up to 2300m. Variable magnification runs from 3.0x to 24.0x, with the digital zoom adjustable in 2x steps or continuously for a smooth transition between quartering cover and picking out a target at distance. Thermal imagery is rendered on a 1024×768 HD AMOLED display through a 29.5° wide-angle eyepiece, keeping the image crisp and detailed even in hard frost. A magnesium alloy body acts as both a heat-sink and a rugged shell rated to IPX7, so the scope remains fully operational after submersion to 1m. The dual battery system — one internal, one removable — provides up to 10 hours of use, and swapping the flat cell is designed to be done by touch in total darkness. Five shooting profiles each hold ten zeroing distances, giving fifty saved zero points across rifles and loads. Built-in video and photo recording stores footage to 16GB of internal memory; Stream Vision 2 connects the scope to a smartphone for remote control, live viewing, and firmware updates. Fits standard 30mm rings.
