Hull's Superfast HV Pigeon is a high-velocity 12 bore cartridge built specifically for fast, decoying pigeon work, where speed and pattern density matter more than shot weight. Each 70mm (2¾") case carries a 29 gram lead shot load in size 6, driven out at 1425fps for flat, hard-hitting performance on birds working hard over decoys or crossing at range. The load runs on a biodegradable fibre wad rather than plastic, in line with Hull's move away from plastic wadding across its game and pigeon ranges, and the cartridge is loaded to cycle reliably through semi-automatic shotguns as well as break-actions. It's a purpose-built decoying cartridge rather than a general game load — the extra velocity is there to punch through at the longer ranges pigeon shooting often demands. Supplied by BushWear in boxes of 25, genuine Hull Cartridge Company stock from their current Superfast Pigeon range. As with all shotgun ammunition, a valid shotgun certificate is required to purchase.
