The single-piece body spans the rail for a stable, one-part fit, with a single-clamp ring design (two bolts per cap) tightened using the supplied Allen key bolts. Its high build suits scopes with an objective lens up to 56mm in diameter when the dovetails sit flush with the barrel, useful where a larger-objective scope, or one with front parallax adjustment, needs the extra clearance over the barrel. A removable recoil stop pin locates into the dovetail to stop the mount shifting under recoil. Overall dimensions run to 24mm (A) and 120mm (B), giving the length needed to bridge a full-length dovetail.
