The Sportsmatch HT081 is a two-piece, two-screw scope mount built for 1-inch scope tubes, in the high configuration that suits 15mm and 17mm dovetail rails. It's sized specifically for Tikka's 15mm dovetail action, fitting the T3 and T3x rifles as well as the older M55, M65, M590, M595 and M695/M695 Magnum models, and includes an arrestor pin sized to engage the Tikka dovetail correctly. Like the rest of the Sportsmatch range, it's CNC-machined in Great Britain from aircraft-grade aluminium alloy, giving a rigid clamp that holds zero through the recoil and rough handling a stalking rifle takes in the field. The high ring height clears large-objective scopes, up to 56mm on most rifles, over the barrel and action, useful where a bigger front lens is fitted for low-light work. At 124g it's a light addition to the rifle. A straightforward, precision-made way to mount a 1-inch scope securely and correctly on a Tikka dovetail action.
