The Sportsmatch SP1 is a spirit level kit that bridges over the top of a 1-inch Sportsmatch scope mount and clamps to the lower ring cradle with two extra-long grub screws, supplied with the kit. Its purpose is simple but important for long-range stalking and target work: a canted rifle, tilted even slightly left or right of true vertical, throws the point of impact off at distance, and a bubble level fitted directly to the mount lets you check and correct that cant every time you settle behind the rifle, rather than relying on feel. Weighing just 14g, it adds virtually nothing to the rifle's balance.
