Beretta's hammer spring assembly is the factory replacement spring for the 680-series range of over-and-under shotguns, with confirmed fitment across the 682, 686, 687, 690 Field III and 692 Trap. Beretta's field and competition guns are among the most heavily used shotguns in the UK, and it's the hammer spring, more than most other parts, that takes the repeated cycling behind every shot fired, gradually losing tension over years of use and eventually giving weak or inconsistent strikes on the primer. Fitting a fresh spring assembly restores the crisp ignition the gun had when new, without the cost or wait of a full trigger-group rebuild.
