With NO Tick Wash in Repellent you can wash any garment just once to get season long protection from Ticks, Midges and Mosquitoes. The dangers ticks and Lyme disease pose to the rural community has rapidly come to the fore.
Using revolutionary Nanotechnology pioneered in Portugal the world renowned IR3535 repellent is bound to the very fabric your garments are made from. It is so simple to use, just apply via the fabric softener draw in the washing machine during a normal wash cycle. The liquid will treat 1kg of clothing per 10ml of solution, so this 250ml sachet will treat 25kg of clothing, which is basically 5 loads of washing in a standard machine. Once treated the garment will provide protection for approximately 20 more washes, which for most garments is easily a season of use.

BushWear Wash In Repellent

Just purchased a large bottle. I tested the product initially with the 50ml option. I spend vast number of hours out on the UK commons & heathlands doing reptile surveying. Typically I am used to coming back from a survey with upwards of 20-30 ticks on my clothing and later having to remove multiple tick from my person.
Thus far, this season, since using the Wash In Repellent the number of ticks found on my clothes after a hike are minimal and I have only experience two bites so far. Admittedly I am also spraying myself with a separate repellent which I have used for a number of seasons prior to going out, but the combination seems to have made a significant difference with the Wash In Repellent being a key contributor by reducing the number of ticks from attaching to my clothing in the first place.
I'll be using this as a default measure from now on.

Great idea

Not had the chance to use this yet but I believe it's a great idea. It was recommended to me by a professional stalker who spends a great deal of time lying in deep heather. So I'm keen to use it this spring.
