CCL Gunstock Conditioning Oil is a simple and effective product for maintaining, improving or rebuilding the oil finish on a wooden rifle or shotgun stock. Applied by hand, just a few drops of the oil are worked into the wood, where it fills the pores and builds a fine natural surface sheen without obscuring the grain or figure of the timber. It can be used to revitalise a weathered or dried-out finish, to improve an existing oil finish that has become patchy or dull, or to create a completely new oil finish of natural colour on bare or stripped wood. The 50ml bottle provides enough oil for multiple applications and is straightforward to use — no buffing machines or specialist equipment required. Regular conditioning keeps the stock supple and protected against moisture ingress, helping the wood resist the wet and humid conditions typical of British fieldwork. A practical, traditional approach to gunstock care.
