The Morakniv Blade Nr 120 is a laminated carbon steel replacement blade designed for the Woodcarving 120 knife and for knifemakers building their own handles. The blade measures 59 mm in length with a 108 mm tang, and is 2.7 mm thick — a short, narrow profile suited to fine wood carving, chip carving, and detailed whittling where precision matters more than brute force. The laminated construction bonds a hard carbon steel core to softer outer layers, giving the edge exceptional sharpness and long-lasting retention while keeping the sides easy to sharpen in the field. Manufactured in Mora, Sweden, where Morakniv has produced blades for over 130 years, the Nr 120 uses the same steel and production process as the full Woodcarving 120 knife. It is supplied as a blade-only blank — no handle or sheath is included — making it the right choice for replacing a worn blade or for knifemakers who want to fit their own handle materials.
