The Morakniv Blade Nr 2000 is a profile-ground replacement blade designed for knife makers who want to build their own outdoor, hunting or wilderness knife around Morakniv's proven Swedish steel. At 113 mm long and 2.5 mm thick, the blade is made from 12C27 Swedish stainless steel with a hardness of 56.5 HRC — a grade well-regarded for holding a working edge while remaining straightforward to sharpen in the field. The Scandi grind (22–24° total angle) is the same geometry found across Morakniv's range: simple to reprofile, forgiving on a leather strop, and well-suited to the carving, food preparation and general outdoor tasks a hunting or stalking knife faces. The 3/4 tang provides a secure fit for most handle styles, and the blade is sold bare — no handle or sheath — ready to be fitted with scales of your choice. Manufactured at Morakniv's factory in Mora, Sweden, where the company has been producing knives since 1891.
