The Sport Plast Peregrine Falcon is a full-size, free-standing bird-deterrent decoy designed to drive pest birds away from crops, game cover, grain stores and other vulnerable areas. Standing 41 cm (16 inches) tall and moulded with realistic plumage detail and lifelike eyes, it presents a convincing silhouette that triggers the instinctive flight response in pigeons, starlings, corvids and other nuisance species. The decoy is hollow but can be filled with sand or cement through the base to ballast it against wind and prevent it tipping over in the field. It works particularly well when combined with bio-acoustic deterrent systems — a matching audio call alongside the visual decoy significantly increases the pressure on pest birds to vacate an area.
