The Pixfra Mile 2 M207 is a compact handheld thermal imaging monocular built for after-dark observation — deer stalking, foxing, pest control and general wildlife watching. At its core is a 256×192, 12μm sensor with sub-35mK NETD sensitivity, paired with a fast 7mm f1.0 objective lens that resolves heat signatures out to 350m. The lens also delivers an unusually wide 24.0° field of view, so you can scan a hedge line or open field without constantly panning to keep track of what's moving. Thermal images are shown on a crisp 0.32-inch AMOLED display (800×600, 90% DCI-P3 colour gamut) across six colour palettes including white hot, black hot and iron red. Built-in Wi-Fi lets you stream live view to up to four phones or tablets at once via the free Pixfra app, and the monocular records video and stills to its own 16GB of storage. An IP67 rating and an operating range of -30°C to +55°C mean it copes with driving rain, fog and hard frost alike, while a USB-C rechargeable battery gives up to 9.5 hours of use. At just 270g it's genuinely pocketable, and comes with a soft pouch, neck strap and wrist strap for carrying in the field.

Brilliant!

I purchased the Mile 2 M207 for spotting rabbits relatively close (within a couple of hundred yards or so) & this thermal imaging device does that fantastically well. It's 7mm lens means it has a wide field of view which is exactly what I require for spotting rabbits in the field. I also own a Pixfra with a 25mm lens which is better for spotting further away but with that you lose the wide angle field of view. The M207 is light, works great, connects to your phone with the minimum of fuss & has built in storage unlike my 25mm Pixfra which requires a micro sd. Will this spot a rabbit 600 yards away? No it won't but if you require a thermal imaging device to scan the field that your stood in then it's fantastic for that. Can obviously detect humans & other large mammals like cattle, red deer, fallow deer, wild boar etc much further than it can spot smaller animals like rabbits, hares, squirrels, fox, badger and such like..would I buy this again? 100% I would. For the quality of the Pixfra Mile 2 M207 the price is quite unbelievable really. As I said I own two Pixfra devices & both are absolutely superb,oh & the battery life is outstanding too! If your even thinking of buying a thermal imaging device then stop right now & go purchase this one especially if your just dipping your toes into the water regarding wanting to own one. At the current price point it's a fantastic entry level device to get you started.

neat little package- good image quality and takes photos and video

useful for nocturnal nature surveys, good field of view. has "hot tracking" so the cursor will zoom off tracing the bat, fox or badger. takes still images and video stored on internal memory. needed small 7mm lens to be able to go close to houses for survey. the more expensive ones dont seem to have the small lens option. Also Bushwear had an excellent price compared to others and lightning fast postage - super reliable.

Pixfra Pixfra Mile 2 M207

Purchased to view bat activity around mine entrances and traps.
For the price it give very satisfactory results. Nets and traps disappear as they reach ambient temperature but bat activity and trapped bats stand out clearly.
Watch from phone or tablet and much better than using Infra Red Image Intensifiers which we have used in the past. No more big moth reflections or shadows.
