The Pulsar Axion Compact XQ19 is a handheld thermal monocular that packs serious imaging performance into a pocket-sized body weighing just 250g. At its heart sits a 384×288 pixel thermal sensor with 17µm pixel pitch and a thermal sensitivity of under 18mK NETD, paired with a 19mm f1.0 objective lens that achieves a detection range of up to 750m. Magnification runs from 1.5x to 6.0x with a 19.5° field of view — the widest in the Axion Compact range — making it well suited to scanning large areas of ground when stalking or lamping. The 640×400 AMOLED display renders heat signatures sharply across eight selectable colour palettes, from White Hot and Black Hot for quick detection to Red Monochrome and Sepia for prolonged low-light observation. The monocular is built around a magnesium alloy body rated IPX7, operating across -25°C to +40°C, and runs from a removable APS3 rechargeable battery (3,200mAh) for up to eight hours. USB-C charging and built-in video recording round out a capable package for night observation, wildlife survey or vermin control.
