The Pulsar Merger LRF XT50 are thermal imaging binoculars built around a 1280×1024, 12µm large-format sensor — the highest-resolution thermal sensor Pulsar has fitted to a binocular. Minimal image compression means the full sensor output reaches the twin 1280×960 HD AMOLED displays with almost no loss of detail, delivering a clean, low-noise image across the full 2.0–16.0× magnification range. A 17.5° field of view covers more ground than any comparable thermal binocular, reducing the need to scan repeatedly whilst stalking or observing at night. Built-in electronic image stabilisation — a first for any Pulsar device — eliminates camera shake when tracking moving subjects at higher magnifications. The integrated 905nm laser rangefinder measures distances up to 1500m with ±1m accuracy in single-shot or continuous scanning mode, supporting safe approach planning in the field. A magnesium alloy bodyshell rated to IPX7 withstands immersion and operates from −25°C to +50°C. Power comes from a dual battery system — a built-in Li-Ion cell plus a removable APS3 pack — for up to six hours' runtime. Built-in Wi-Fi connects to the Stream Vision 2 app for remote control, media browsing and firmware updates.
