The Pulsar Telos XG50 is the top-specification entry in the Telos thermal monocular range, pairing a high-resolution 640×480, 12 µm uncooled sensor with a 50 mm f/1.0 objective lens for exceptional detail and a detection range of up to 2,300 m. At 50 Hz frame rate the image is fluid and responsive — an important factor when tracking moving animals across a hillside or scanning a wide stubble field for foxes at night. The narrower 8.8°×6.6° field of view reflects the longer focal length, while magnification from 3.5× to 14.0× allows close inspection at extended range. The 1024×768 AMOLED HD display renders the image with clarity across all eight colour palettes. As with all Telos devices, the platform is built to be user-upgradeable — sensor, objective and electronics modules can be exchanged as technology advances, making this a longer-term investment than a sealed unit. Wi-Fi is built in, with full compatibility with Pulsar's Stream Vision 2 app for remote control, live viewing, video recording and firmware updates. The removable LPS7i Li-Ion battery (6,400 mAh) delivers up to 8.5 hours of continuous use, and 64 GB of onboard storage accommodates extensive .mp4 video and .jpg still recording. IPX7-rated; operational from −25°C to +40°C.
