The Vortex GlassPak Binocular Harness is a chest-worn carry system built to keep a full-size binocular close, secure and protected while you're out on the hill. Rather than swinging on a neck strap, the binocular sits snugly in a padded case made from durable fabric, held high on the chest by fully adjustable straps that spread the weight comfortably over a jacket or smock. A full-coverage lid, closed with a bungee cord and nylon tab, keeps the glass shielded from rain, dust and knocks between glassing stops, while integral tether straps clip onto the binocular itself so a fumbled grab never ends in a drop onto rock or heather. Two mesh side pockets keep a lens cloth, lens pen or other small essentials within easy reach, and a zippered pocket on the back is roomy enough for a phone or permit wallet. Weighing just 8oz and packing down to 6.75 x 6.25 x 3.75in, it adds almost nothing to the load out.
